Remember Your Calling

This message for pastors summarizes the main takeaways from our January 2025 Pastor Circle. We began by asking our small group of pastors, “In its simplest form, what is your calling?”

While we all approach that calling differently based on our community, congregation, and background, we share the same core calling: to guide people closer to Christ. How can you remember your calling and make ministry plans that align with what God has asked you to do?

Reflection questions:

Q1: In its simplest form, what is your calling?

Q2: What group of people has God called you to serve? How are you making an impact among them?

Q3: What are your top 3 priorities in your ministry right now? Why?

Q4: What 3 tasks consume most of your time and attention while working? Are those tasks aligned with your calling?

Application: Once you define your calling, write down your ministry's goals and objectives. Are they aligned with your calling? How can you better allocate your attention and efforts to focus on what God has called you to do?
