This Bible study explores the first three pillars of emotional intelligence -- self-awareness, empathy, and self-regulation.
Discussion Guide:
Q1. How do my moods or emotions affect my thoughts and decision-making? Do they regularly affect my life in a negative way?
Q2. Of the 3 Emotional Intelligence pillars covered today, which one do I need to work on the most? Why?
Q3. When I get upset, do I practice Self-Awareness and try to figure out the root cause of my feelings? Do I understand my personal triggers?
Q4. Do I normally practice Empathy? Is it easy for me to see another’s point of view and extend grace?
Q5. Do I struggle with self-regulation? What tools can I put in my self-regulation toolbox to help me when I am upset?
