This Bible study on self care examines two ways Jesus cared for Himself that we can implement in our lives: praying in solitude and meditating on God's Word.


Discussion Guide:

Q1: Have you ever experienced Burn Out? If so, what type of symptoms did you experience, and how did it affect your life?

Q2: Is Burn Out a recurring problem in your life, or have you learned ways to guard against it? Do you employ certain strategies in your life to insulate you from the effects of Burn Out?

Q3: In what ways do you think implementing a time of solitude and prayer each morning could enrich your upcoming day?

Q4: Jesus used the Word of God every day. Do you regularly pull from the Word of God to help you throughout your day? If not, how can you improve in this area?

Application: What's one thing you can put into action this week to help overcome or prevent burnout?
